The Story
Richelieu Dennis and his family built SheaMoisture from a single street cart in Harlem: starting with shea butter recipes passed down from his grandmother in Sierra Leone. The brand became a cultural institution before selling a majority stake to Unilever, while the Dennis family retained ownership of Sundial Brands.
